GETTING STARTED
First Flock-Herd is a global initiative to support youth in starting their First Flock-Herd of sheep or goats.
GOAL
The RSG Foundation is dedicated to providing grants for young individuals and their families to purchase breeding animals, services, equipment, animal health and nutritional products to help them establish their First Flock-Herd. The goal is to provide a sustainable program that leads to poverty alleviation in rural areas.
HOW IT WORKS
Families that meet the qualifications can apply for grants to start their First Flock-Herd. The RSG Foundation will work with them to acquire their animal(s) and other resources needed to assure the best outcome for success in raising sheep or goats.
GET INVOLVED
Make an animal(s) or monetary donation to the RSG Foundation to help support this program. We will work to match qualified breeders geographically with those interested in raising sheep or goats to also be a mentor in their First Flock-Herd experience.
