We are excited to recognize the first recipients of our Flock & Herd Program. This program was designed to help individuals take the next step in their livestock journey by assisting with the purchase of their first sheep or goat to start or grow their herd. We are proud to support these individuals as they begin building their operations.

2026 WINNERS

Amelia Power

Amelia is an eight-year-old from Idaho who has grown up surrounded by agriculture through her family’s involvement in teaching and 4-H. She discovered her love for sheep at just four years old while helping with chores and caring for bottle lambs. Now beginning her first official year in 4-H, Amelia is excited to take on sheep and swine projects while continuing her rabbit, dog, and poultry projects. She hopes to build a sheep flock that produces competitive lambs while keeping them affordable for families to participate in the local fair.

Ottilie Lau

Ottilie is the daughter of Tyler and Denise Lau and lives near Parkston, South Dakota. She enjoys showing cattle, goats, and sheep at local and state youth shows. One of her biggest highlights last year was showing sheep for the first time at the South Dakota State Fair. She is also active in several other 4-H activities, including Special Foods, growing produce, and Shooting Sports. She is excited to purchase her first breeding sheep and continue growing her skills with the help of the RSG Foundation Grant.

Jaxon Rose

Jaxon Rose is from Minnesota and is active in 4-H, where he shows rabbits and poultry. Over the past three years, he has also had the opportunity to lease Dorper sheep, which helped grow his interest in raising sheep of his own. Jaxon is very thankful to RSG for the opportunity to begin building his own flock. He hopes to grow his herd and show at his local county fair and one day at the state fair. In school, Jaxon is part of the Student Leadership Team and the bowling team. He is excited to have a breeding ewe of his own to show and breed.

Liam Tomamichel

Liam is a nine-year-old from Crossville, Tennessee, who lives with his mom, dad, and eight brothers and sisters. His love for sheep began two years ago when he started helping his oldest brother care for his flock. Since then, Liam has developed a strong interest in sheep and the desire to have a flock of his own. When he’s not in the barn, he enjoys playing in the woods, riding horses, and kayaking. Liam is excited for the opportunity to start his own flock and continue learning more about raising sheep.

Camilla Dixon

Camilla is 14 years old and has been involved in 4-H for nine years. Over the past two years, she has shown goats through a managerial project, where she developed a strong passion for livestock. Camilla enjoys showing her goats at jackpots, the county fair, and the state fair. Her favorite part about showing goats is the opportunity to learn new things and gain hands-on experience. She is excited to take the next step in her journey by starting
her own herd.

Jeff Sebes

Jeff is a 12-year-old student with a strong interest in agriculture and hands-on farm projects. He enjoys working with electricity and building practical projects that support farm operations. Jeff plans to pursue a future in farming and has developed a growing interest in dairy goat management and production. Receiving the goat grant will allow him to expand his experience in livestock care and continue developing skills in responsible animal stewardship. He is active in 4-H and plans to show his goat through the program
this year.

Vicky De Los Santos

Vicky De Los Santos is a 16-year-old from Pharr, Texas, with a strong passion for the
livestock industry, especially raising and showing goats. She has been involved in livestock since she was eight years old and has developed skills in animal care, nutrition, breeding, and showmanship through years of dedication and hard work. She enjoys giving back by mentoring younger students who are learning about goat showing and showmanship, helping them build confidence and skills in the show ring. She hopes to continue growing in the livestock industry by starting her own herd and inspiring younger exhibitors to develop the same passion for livestock.

Brecken Rhoden

Brecken is a 9-year-old fourth-grade student at Shepherd Intermediate School. Outside of
school, he enjoys reading, hunting, and playing baseball. Brecken is very excited about this opportunity and looks forward to learning more about lamb breeding and participating in showing sheep.

Ryleigh Jordan

Ryleigh Jane Jordan is a 10-year-old who lives on a small farm with her parents and younger brother, where she has developed a love for animals and agriculture. She is active in her elementary school choir, her local 4-H club, her church youth group, and a community youth softball program, where she pitches and plays first base. This marks Ryleigh Jane’s fifth year showing lambs, and she is honored to receive support from the RSG Future Flock Foundation to purchase a new lamb and begin building a flock of her own. She looks forward to continuing to grow her knowledge and passion for agriculture through this
opportunity.

Nina Herring

Nina Herring is a 14-year-old from Placerville, California, and has been a member of 4-H for the past four years. She participates in both horse and market lamb projects and has developed a strong interest in sheep. In recent years, Nina and her family have had to travel long distances to find high-quality market lambs for their county program. She hopes to help improve this by purchasing a quality breeding ewe to help elevate the program. Nina is very grateful to receive funding from RSG.

Kenzie Galvan

Kenzie Galvan is a 17-year-old junior from Klamath Falls, Oregon. She plans to pursue a career as a small ruminant veterinarian after graduating from high school. Kenzie has been raising market lambs for the past several years and has greatly enjoyed the experience. As she approaches the end of her time in youth livestock programs, she hopes to leave a positive impact by starting her own breeding program for younger exhibitors. Over the years, she has developed a strong interest in whiteface and whiteface-influenced sheep and plans to focus her breeding program on those genetics.

Molly Groskreutz

Molly Groskreutz is a senior in high school who has been showing and raising beef cattle for nine years. During the summer of 2025, she developed a strong interest in lambs while helping a local breeder with daily chores. After graduating, Molly plans to attend the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, where she will major in Agricultural Education to pursue her goal of becoming an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor.

Macy Vande Hey

Macy Vande Hey is a 16-year-old from Brillion, Wisconsin, and the daughter of Chad and Rhonda Vande Hey. She attends Brillion High School, where she competes on the FFA Livestock Evaluation Team and the Calumet County 4-H Livestock Quiz Bowl and Skillathon Team. Macy began showing sheep seven years ago at her county fair and now competes at jackpot shows and the Wisconsin State Fair. She is excited and honored to receive this opportunity from the RSG Foundation Inc. as she works toward a future career in agriculture and her goal of owning her own sheep operation.

Stephanie Cerreras

Stephanie has been involved in agriculture for most of her life through Sebastopol FFA and Goldridge 4-H, where she showed dogs, pygmy goats, Boer goats, and sheep. Today, she is proud to give back to the agricultural community as a 4-H leader and advisor. This fall, Stephanie earned a Certificate in Animal Science (Livestock and Equine Management) from Santa Rosa Junior College and plans to focus on raising and breeding Boer goats. She is incredibly grateful to the many people who have supported her along the way and is especially thankful for the opportunity to be selected for the 2026 First Flock Herd Program.

Khloe Baker

Khloe Baker is 16 years old and a proud member of the Riverview High School FFA, where she currently serves as the chapter Treasurer. Livestock has always been a passion of hers, and she enjoys the hard work and responsibility that come with raising and caring for animals. Through her involvement in FFA, Khloe has developed strong leadership skills and a deeper appreciation for the agricultural industry. Her goal is to become a large animal veterinarian so she can continue working with and caring for livestock in the future.

Theodore Frey

Theodore is a 10-year-old fourth grader who is active in 4-H and has a strong passion for animals. He has participated in starter calf and horse and pony projects, helping care for and train calves from bottle feeding through show season. One of his highlights was earning first-year showmanship in both starter calf and horsemanship. Theodore enjoys riding horses, playing ball with his three brothers, and working with livestock. He is excited to begin building his very first sheep herd and looks forward to adding sheep to his 4-H
projects in the future.
