RSG Foundation and the Flanagan Family Support Handspun Hope in Rwanda

The RSG Foundation is proud to join Dr. Scott and Mylea Flanagan in supporting Handspun Hope, a transformative program empowering women and families in northern Rwanda. Together, the Foundation and the Flanagan Family have contributed a $2,000 donation to help sustain this impactful work.

Handspun Hope provides meaningful employment, trauma counseling, and community support to women who have survived significant hardship. One of the most inspiring aspects of the program is how these women use locally sourced wool, hand-spinning it into beautiful yarns and crafting high-quality, artisan products. Their work not only preserves traditional fiber arts but also creates stable income and renewed dignity for their families.

This contribution reflects the RSG Foundation’s mission to support people, strengthen communities, and invest in hope—whether in the U.S. or around the world. We are grateful to Dr. Scott and Mylea for leading with compassion and helping extend the reach of the Foundation’s impact far beyond our borders.

We look forward to sharing more stories that highlight how your support fuels meaningful, life-changing projects like Handspun Hope.
