The RSG Foundation is proud to continue its support for the Freedom Farms Livestock Show Team in West Virginia for a second year. Freedom Farms Regeneration is an inspiring organization that mentors at-risk youth through hands-on experiences in livestock, faith, and community service. Their mission is to glorify God by feeding the hungry, serving those in need, and ensuring that no young person is left behind.

This year, the RSG Foundation awarded the team a Youth Genetics Grant and provided supplies for their LAI (Laparoscopic Artificial Insemination) day, helping advance their efforts in livestock production education.

The Freedom Farms team exhibits at jackpot shows and the West Virginia State Fair—an incredible platform to celebrate the dedication, growth, and success of these young leaders in agriculture.

The RSG Foundation continues to receive great donations of semen, which we have made available in our Gene Bank online catalog for purchase. In July, we have reduced pricing on several bucks. Please note, we have limited inventory on some sires.

Purchasing semen from the Foundation supports our work in youth engagement.

Are you or someone you know a young person dreaming of raising sheep or goats? The RSG Foundation’s First Flock-Herd Grant is designed to help youth across the country get started in livestock by awarding funding toward the purchase of their very first breeding ewe or doe.

The application is open to youth ages 8–20 who are passionate about agriculture and ready to take the next step in livestock ownership. Applicants will be asked to share their goals, experience, and how they plan to care for and grow their new flock or herd.
